The North Leicestershire Association of National Trust Members and Volunteers (NLNTA) was founded in 2008, the aim of our volunteer-run group is “to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust” at all levels. We do this by organising a year-round programme of social events. We donate the surplus from these events to National Trust projects and appeals.
Our activities include talks, lecture-lunches, dinners, afternoon tea talks, coach trips and self-drive visits plus a wide variety of other social events for our members to enjoy.
We have a close relationship with Calke Abbey and we run a number of privilege events at this wonderful South Derbyshire property. Some of our members are volunteers not only at Calke Abbey but now at Stoneywell.
Membership of our supporter group enables you to meet with like-minded people with similar interests. We are a friendly and inclusive group, and we welcome new members. Joining us is a great way to meet new people and new friendships have been forged through our Association.
Association membership is open to all holders of valid National Trust membership, volunteer, staff or admission cards.
